March, 2021

Dear Parents and Guardians,

What a difference a year makes! Who would have imagined last year at this time that our lives would be where it is it today? Hopefully this pandemic has taught us to treat each day as a gift from God. Although many of us have suffered losses such as family members, employment, our full time school schedule, praise God we are here! Let us continue on this journey of Lent calling to mind our misgivings and continuing to strengthen our relationship with the living God.

Please make note of the following important dates:

• Wed March 17th Green Day – Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day (details will be sent home).
• Fri March 19th Feast of St. Joseph – Virtual Prayer Service (teachers will share info).

**Easter Recess – Thursday April 1st – Friday April 9th – Re- Open Monday April 12th**

Report Cards will be distributed via Option C on Thursday March 25th. Teachers will be available for virtual conferences between the hours of 3:00pm-4:00pm and 5:30pm -7:00pm. As this is our 2nd marking period conferences, we strongly urge you to take the opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher and review their progress.

Wednesday March 31st will be our last day in the building before Easter recess. As the situation with Covid is still concerning, we invite and encourage you to participate in the Holy Thursday and Good Friday services livestreamed on TV. As a Catholic Academy, Holy Thursday and Good Friday are two of the most important days on the church’s calendar. Please join in praying and remembering Jesus’ last days on this earth.

In closing please continue to pray with your children during Lent; participate in mass (virtually and when possible in person), pray and meditate The Stations of the Cross. Instill in your children traditions that will be with them for a lifetime. Invite Jesus in!

Sincerely,

Principal J. Charles
