September 2019 Welcome Letter

Office of the Principal
September 2019

Dear Families,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all of our families (new and old) to the 2019-2020 school year.  This is a very exciting time!  September brings many changes; a new teacher, classroom, friends and for some a new school. I am confident that you will find St. Catherine of Genoa~St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Academy to be like your second home.  As partners with you in the education of your children, we share your dreams and hopes for them. Together, we work for their success, now and in the future. For your part to assist in this endeavor, we ask that you demonstrate the importance of arriving to school on time, dressed properly in the school uniform and setting aside a time and place for homework.  Make sure studies are completed before “entertainment”.  Please supervise your child while they are on the internet, phone, watching television, etc.  Start the year off by introducing a good routine!

Wednesday Sept 4th is our first day of school (please see website for the remaining weeks schedule).  Monday Sept 9th begins our full day session; yellow bus service and after school.  On Wednesday September 11th at 7pm we will have our “Back to School Night”.  Our Board of Directors will be at this meeting to discuss the school year and most importantly you will also have the opportunity to meet your child’s new teacher. In order for this to be a successful night, we are requesting that only 2 parents or guardians attend the meeting per family.  Absolutely no children will be permitted to attend so please make adequate arrangements prior to attending.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation and are looking forward to a wonderful school year!
