On Tuesday May 9th, our students from the Aquinas Group presented their information on Caribbean Culture. Our Aquinas Group is made up of students from sixth, seventh and eighth grades who have high standardized test scores and high academic marks. This year they went to St. Peter’s Academy and met with many other schools in Brooklyn to give their presentation of the many Caribbean islands. Their presentation was very well rounded. It incorporated the flags of each of the islands, the food (which was delicious), the culture and language, music and many more interesting facts. They did a great job and we are very proud of them. Shaunya Gibson even played on the pan drum!
